WATER MAIN FLUSHING PROGRAM
May 2 - 13, 2011

The Village of Fruitvale will be conducting its spring water main flushing program from May 2 – 13, 2011. This program is performed as part of a scheduled preventative maintenance program to help maintain good water quality and to improve the water flow in your neighbourhood.

As areas are flushed, users may experience a temporary reduction in water pressure. You may also see some colour and/or notice a slight change in the taste and odour of your water. These conditions are normal during flushing activities and are only temporary. If you experience any of these changes or if you see some cloudiness or rust colour in your water, we recommend you refrain from washing your laundry and run the water in your home until the water runs clear.

We are sorry for any inconvenience you may experience during the flushing program and thank you for your patience and co-operation. If you have any questions or experience any persistent water quality problems please do not hesitate to contact the Village Office at 250-367-7551.
